When I first heard about the Springs project, I thought it sounded like a pipe dream. But then I saw the community meetings, the zoning proposals, the real money starting to line up—and I realized this was different. This was real.

I joined the board because I wanted to ensure this venture would benefit everyone. I made it clear—this isn’t just about tourists with fat wallets. It’s about after-school programs funded by increased tax revenue. It’s about infrastructure. Clean streets. New classrooms. Broadband access for our kids.

Look, we’ve made a few mistakes. We had to part ways with one board member—Morten Kiil—for reasons I won’t get into here. Let’s just say there were complications. But we’ve course-corrected. We’ve stabilized.

The vision is clear. And if we stay the course, we’re going to leave this town better than we found it.
