How do I vote?

There will be a moment toward the end of the play where two boxes will be presented. It is at that moment that you can take your “investor interested” sheet and place it in the respective box that you wish to vote for.

Following the voting process, Alec Hovstad will tally the votes and proceed accordingly.

Who is Henrik Ibsen?

Henrik Ibsen was a groundbreaking 19th-century Norwegian playwright often called the “father of modern drama” for his bold critiques of social hypocrisy and moral conflict. Among his most provocative works is An Enemy of the People (1882), a play that tackles the tension between truth, power, and public opinion. Centered on a whistleblower who exposes contamination in his town’s lucrative spa, the play remains eerily relevant today—raising urgent questions about environmental responsibility, civic duty, and the cost of speaking out.

What does being a VIP mean?

When you checked in, you had the opportunity to find out whether you were one of our VIP investors or not. By spinning the wheel, you were classified. Our VIPs have a slightly different experience. Starting with the free dessert from the town’s baker, Linda Chau. Additionally, as a VIP, you have a heavier influence on the final vote by having a “VIP Investor interested” card that counts as two votes.

What is Immersive Theatre?

Immersive theatre is a form of performance that breaks the traditional boundaries between audience and actors, inviting participants to step into the world of the play. Rather than watching from a distance, audiences move through spaces, interact with characters, and make choices that can shape the narrative. This approach creates a highly personal, sensory-rich experience—blurring the line between observer and participant and transforming storytelling into something active, intimate, and unpredictable.

While this show tiptoes closely to immersive theatre and borrows elements often associated with the genre, this production would be classified as an interactive theatre piece. Your understanding of the narrative, your individual experience, and the show's trajectory are directly tied to your interaction with the production.
