I came here last autumn for a writing retreat, and I never left. The smell of the pines, the mineral tang in the air—there’s something almost sacred about this place.

So, when I heard about the Springs board forming, I offered to fund the marketing campaign myself. Not because I need more money—I don’t. But because I believe in the energy of this town. I believe in what we can create together.

I’ve seen too many beautiful places bulldozed by fear. What we’re doing here isn’t exploitation—it’s alchemy. We’re transforming hurt into hope.

I know there are people afraid of change. But I’ve found that the loudest critics are often the ones most afraid of their own potential. Let’s not let the fearmongers win. Let’s build something glowing. Something good.
