I bought in because it was a damn good deal. I did the math—what I’d pay for one spa trip a year vs. owning a piece of something. That’s how you build wealth now. Assets. Not just memories.

I don’t really know much about the water stuff. My wife mentioned some article, but come on—every place has issues. I served in places where the air could kill you. You learn to live with things.

What I do know is I met the project manager, shook his hand, looked him in the eye, and he didn’t flinch. That means something. Integrity. Confidence. They’re even talking about expanding to golf and equine therapy. That’s forward-thinking.

So yeah, I put a little pressure on the neighbors to join in. The more of us there are, the more stable it gets. That’s just smart investing. You don’t pull out at the first sign of bad PR. You double down.
