Okay, so let’s just be honest — Morgan’s whole “crusade for the truth” thing? It’s getting a little exhausting. I mean, we came here to write a report, not start a conspiracy podcast. Yeah, Kirsten Springs has some vague language on their website. So does every corporation ever. It’s literally called branding.

Morgan keeps acting like she’s uncovering Watergate, walking around with her little notebook, whispering about “runoff” and “toxicity” like she’s in some environmental thriller. It’s dramatic. Cute, but dramatic.

I actually talked to a few people from the Springs too — and yeah, they were polished, they were careful. But maybe that’s because every time someone from the university shows up, they get accused of poisoning the town. If I were them, I’d rehearse my lines too.

You know what I think? I think Morgan wants there to be a scandal. It makes her look brave. It gives her a story. She’s built this whole identity around being the one person who “sees through the lies.” And honestly, that’s addictive. But maybe, just maybe, the truth is a little more boring than she wants it to be.

Kirsten Springs is… fine. It’s just another development trying to look green while selling luxury. Welcome to America. They’ll plant some trees, name a street after a bird, and call it “eco-living.” Big deal. If you think you’re gonna topple capitalism by interrogating a PR rep, you’re not an activist — you’re naive.

And don’t get me wrong, I like Morgan. She’s smart. Passionate. But she’s also got this savior complex that makes everyone else feel like we’re just not woke enough. Like if we don’t share her suspicions, we’re complicit.

Maybe I’m cynical. Or maybe I just don’t need every assignment to turn into a morality play.

Sometimes water’s just water. And sometimes it’s a reflection — showing you exactly what you want to see.
